Arsenal and England MF Jack Wilshere confirmed on his twitter account what multiple sources have been reporting. He will be out 2-3 months with an ankle injury, missing some critical matches for both the Gunners and England.
The 19 year old said that he is "gutted and will be back stronger than ever." He sustained the injury in the July 31 match against the New York Red Bulls.
It's tough to tell if his absence will effect England or Arsenal more, in light of the Gunner's recent signings. Still, Wilshere is a quality young man and I wish him a speedy recovery.
