This Blues fan is blue. Looks like Chelsea won't be adding anymore trophies to the cabinet this year, and that bums me out, especially after the double from last year. Chelsea gave it a whirl today at Old Trafford, but give credit where it's due, Untied was the better team, and the opening loss at The Bridge just killed us. The debate about Torres will go on. Will Anelka leave, will Carlo get sacked?
United has just been awesome this year, you have to give them that. They haven't scored a ton in Champion's League, but they've gotten the job done. Next up they get either Inter or Schalke, probably Schalke. I'm not sure either side can take on United and win.
On the other side of the coin, Barcelona did what they needed to do against Shakhtar, which wasn't much. Messi scored in the 43rd minute to add to the 5-1 advantage that Barco had coming into the match, and Shakhtar had nothing for them. Give the Ukrainian side credit though, they had a great run. Barca is just a buzz saw this year, and it looks like they'll get their La Liga rivals Real Madrid in the semis, which will be great!
