More manager movement news from England this morning. Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish has resigned. The club isn't making any comment about it at this time. Rumors around England are that McLeish, who formerly coached Rangers, will take over at Aston Villa. We'll see I guess.
McLeish was given a vote of confidence at Birmingham even though the club was relegated. His job was conditional on them returning to the Premier league immediately. However, as we remember, his side did win the Carling Cup this year.
