FC Dallas Sign Panamanian Striker

In one of the bigger MLS related moves this off season, FC Dallas has acquired a player that they hope will be an answer for their forward dilemma. Today they announced the signing of Panama international Blase Perez.

FC Dallas coach Schellas Hyndman said that the club has actually been interested in the 30 year old striker for a few years, but this year they were finally able to get the deal done. Perez's contract was formerly owned by UANL Tigres, the recent Mexican club champions, and included a large buyout and transfer fee.

The Hoops hope Perez can combine with Brek Shea and David Ferreira to bolster their attack in 2012 after much of their offense went exclusively through Shea in 2011.
