Match Thoughts: New England Revolution vs. Philadelphia Union

If you haven't watched this game yet, don't bother unless you're a hardcore Philly fan.

The Union just game out from the opening the whistle and smacked a hapless New England side all over the pitch. The Union did what they wanted, when they wanted. The closest thing New England could muster to offense was Benny "Flopper" Feilhaber hitting the floor every chance he got to try and earn free kicks. When that didn't work, Benny got mad and started running into people because he can't play nice. He also tried out his Karate Kid impression a couple of times, which earned him a pair of yellow cards and a seat in the locker room for most of the second half. Of course, the little Brat threw a tantrum and huffed and puffed at everybody on the way out. What a joke. Whatever the Revs are paying this Clown, it's way too much. How in the World did he not succeed in Europe? --SARCASM--

Anyhoodles, Ruiz and Valdez scored for The Union in the first half. In the second half, the Revs sucked some more, Benny got sent off, and Williams added a third for the Union. New England looked more like your local AYSO team than an MLS side. A pathetic effort, even in the words of their own announcers. 0-3 to the Union the Full Time Result.

Steve Nichols head should be exploding any day now. I've said it before, this Revs team needs to be blown up and rebuilt. Great match by the Union though.
