This rumor had been coming down the pipe for a few days, but now all parties have confirmed: former EPL striker Robbie Keane has signed with the LA Galaxy. The deal was completed before the MLS transfer window closed.
It's a two year deal worth upward of 9.75 million US. Tottenham may get as much as 4.7 million for him.
Keane has also been the Captain of the Ireland National Team. Keane has spoken of wanting to play in MLS before, and the Whitecaps pursued him heavily at one point. Juan Pablo Angel has left for Chivas to make room for Keane on the LA DPs.
