I don't usually blog about transfer news until an official announcement is made, but this one looks to be done. Reports coming out of London, Sky Sports in particular, are saying that the deal sending Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona is done. The deal is rumored to be worth at least 48.5 million dollars (US).
Supposedly Fabregas is in Spain today taking a medical. Speculation is saying he may be announced tomorrow and travel to Madrid for Spanish Supercup on Sunday vs Real Madrid.
Arsene Wenger has not commented, but Fabregas is not in the squad for The Gunners' opener at Newcastle this weekend.
