Well, being the game of the year in the EPL, you'd have thought Chelsea could have shown up in the first half. I mean, I don't know that anybody really expects to beat United at Old Trafford, but it's really that much harder when you take the first half off and come out for the 2nd down 2-0.
Ancelotti said that if he could have made 11 subs at half time, he would have. That about sums it up.
The Blues did make a game of it in the second half, but United could afford to just sit back and absorb the pressure. In the end, they won 2-1, and you have to give them credit for getting the job done on their own turf. Chelsea has been the best team in the League for the last two months, but United was the best team today. Pity.
