Goal.com is reporting, citing a Swedish newspaper, that Alejandro Bedoya will replace the injured Benny Feilhaber on the USMNT Gold Cup Roster. People were surprised that Bedoya was left off of the squad in the first place but it looks like he'll get his chance. Feilhaber suffered an ankle injury in New England's 0-1 loss to the LA Galaxy Saturday night. He is expected to be out at least a month.
Bedoya plays for Swedish top-flight club Oredro, where he has scored 5 goals in 9 appearances this season. He was also left off the USA World Cup roster last year.
