The Original Winger and Spurs' official website are reporting this morning that Gareth Bale has suffered ruptured ligaments in his right ankle and will miss the remainder of the Premier League season, including Tuesday's big clash with Manchester City.
Bale suffered the injury from a tackle by Blackpool's Charlie Adam in the second half of Saturday's 1-1 draw with the Tangerines. He is expected to be ok for the start of next year's preseason
